Stacey Salmonson is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing telehealth care at Ascend Psychiatry and Wellness. She works with patients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and other mental health concerns.

Stacey earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a psychiatric nurse practitioner specialization from the University of South Alabama in 2017, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Radford University in 2010. Her experience spans outpatient psychiatry, inpatient care, substance use treatment, and correctional settings, with a background serving patients across the lifespan, including veterans.

Her approach is collaborative and personal. Stacey listens to each patient’s concerns and goals, develops individualized medication treatment plans, and values the role of therapy and healthy daily habits in supporting lasting well-being.
